The objective of crafting the visual identity for ‘A.A.A. Atletiekvereniging’ was to establish a digital presence that not only honours the essence of athletics but also connects with users on a profound, emotional level.
I harnessed my passion for impactful photography and opted for a clean black-and-white design. In the realm of sports, where every movement tells a story, the black and white palette became a canvas to capture raw emotions and intricate details. Getting rid of colour was pivotal in establishing a sophisticated and cohesive visual identity for the website. By eliminating distractions, I created a clean, unified aesthetic that seamlessly places a heightened emphasis on emotions, teamwork and celebration.
